Couple things Ive ran into since buying my Dyna a couple months ago that I was wondering if anyone can help me with
1. After taking it to the dealer for the 5k it seems like it vibrates a little more, also seems like when I take a loose grip on the bars that they have a bit of a wabble to them now that I didnt notice before.Wondering if it was in relation of anything those guys did on the 5k, but then again as Im a new rider could just be me starting to ride it a bit harder
2. I have had my wife get on the back a couple of times and after about 20 minutes or so she is ready to go home saying the the vibration is getting to her so Im wondering what to do to help. I have read that the pipes could make a difference as the guy that had it before me gutted them 3/4 the way and I havent had a chance to get new ones
Welcome to the forum.......If you are getting a front end wobble take it back to the dealer and tell the service manager about it. Front end wobble can be dangerous. As for the wife's complaint...it's pretty common and a lot of guys here have gone to a touring or sundowner seat. Check the seats on the HD website there are 2 that are probably more comfortable than the stock seat (the rallyrunner & sundowner). I was going to change my seat but the wife kinda likes the vibration..........
The woble is not that bad dont notice it when I have a firmer grip on it but your probably right, Im wondering what they would have been into to affect that
Ditto about taking it back. Describe to the dealer what you are feeling and they will take it out and ride it after a good visual inspection.
About the seat, I agree with the recommendation of the Sundowner Seat..way more comfortable than the stock seat....in addition, sometimes it takes a little of getting used too, sort of like riding a horse.
