Ok, before I start, I did go through a lot of the older posts on this subject, but nothing really answered my question. I am looking for the smallest screen I can get for my Fat Bob. I had a wind vest on my 04 Yamaha RoadStar and it was one of the best investments on that bike I could have made. Probably looking at the same for this bike, but I want it to be the least obtrusive shield I can get. Around town, the wind is no big deal. I wear a full coverage helmet, and before I get too many groans, let me just say, that for me, being rear ended on my bike by a cager, and thrown onto their windshield and then thrown on to the pavement in front of them has changed my perspective on protective riding gear. I would like to ride with my shorty helmet sometimes, though. So, real quickly, does anyone else out there have something that works for them besides the WindVest, or is that truly my best option? I love the quality and infinite angle adjustment, but just want to see if there is some magic bullet I missed. The only problem I notice riding with out the screen is that my right arm gets tired from being pushed by the wind and my right hand starts to tingle a bit, not quite numb, but yall know what I mean. Anyway, I have been long winded enough. Will quietly wait for the responses to come pouring in. Thanks family, I know I can count on you.
Just thought of another option for you. If you call Doug at windvest (his toll free number is 877-370-7326) he will send you the brackets for your fat bob and you can use your existing screen that's on your roadster. (can't ride them both at the same time) I came so close to buying the fat bob that I already had the fat bob brackets but sent them back when I got the superglide. So for about $100 you can use it on both bikes...

That would be great except .... I sold the RoadStar about 2 years ago to buy the FJR 1300. WindVest went with it. But good info to know, none the less.
That is cool Eric, good job! Do you still have the windvest or the original brackets?
Ray there is a clear windvest in the classifieds here that you would need to get different brackets for. If you buy it, I have dibs on your unusable brackets...they would bring my windvest closer...
Wow Eric, that is EXACTLY what I would want, but I don't trust myself to go cutting on the p-glass. Very cool indeed. Rooti, thanks for the link. Ride safe, all

Rooti,
Thanks!. All I have is what you see in the picture. The shield and the main mounting bracket. I bought it like that from a forum member.
