Dont even know why you would post this, sure it seems like a great story and I am sure it was one of those moments in your life that made you think, but as it comes off all it says is,
"i have so much stuff i forgot i had another motorcycle"
which in my view is a pretty stupid thing to say, I am sure you have worked hard for them all being as old as you are but you would think at your age you would have learn to be humble and thankful for what you have as there are so many that don't have anything like that,
which by the way is the reason for my comment as anyone that doesn't have all that stuff in the shed is just thinking, WTF.
If you don't get your priorities straight I might have to go Mr. T on you by coming to your house, taking the Super Glide, and giving it to somebody who will appreciate it.
He was outed by another member about 6 months ago for making contradicting statements about tuning mods he'd done to his bikes. On one hand he said his bikes were stock, and then in another thread he posted about the mods he'd done. I don't believe anything he has to say.
"Tomorrow I will move the three cars and two bikes to get it up front"
Are the bikes you're moving the "motor" type or the "pedal" type like in your picture?
Seriously, I was like you for years until I realized I was enjoying buying new bikes more than riding them. Two years ago I sold all my bikes. I have since replaced them with an FXDC for home and an Iron 883 for when I'm in the country. I'm putting a lot miles on the bikes rather than "riding the rotation" and enjoying riding more than ever. Now I'm getting to "know" each bike better than I ever did any of the previous fleet.
Whenever a man has worked hard, been successful and thus has things that others don't....there will always be plenty of guys who DIDN'T put in the work, time and effort to be there.....who will, through jealousy, try to put you down.
I have no sympathy for guys who were "too cool for school...college is for sissies"....who 15 years+ down the road, know deep down inside they fk'd up....find a way to compensate for the fact that they ain't ****, by trying to put others down.
In short, you don't fool anybody.
Laziness is never rewarded.....you want ****, you gotta work your fk'n *** off. No free lunch. Don't like it? Go back to school, open your own business and get in the game......or sit back and bitch because life ain't fair. Don't give excuses.
