It's a nice looking kit, but it's pricey for sure. The 240 looks cool but I don't think there will be a market for the 200 because a 200 will fit with minor work on 2006-up Dyna's. I'm running a 180 on an 18x5.5 now without having to do anything extra and could squeeze a 200 with a little work. What specifically does the 200 kit include and how much would it cost?

Sounds like an EXCELLENT way to ruin the handling characteristics and perhaps steering geometry as well.

Default Bigger

Bigger is better 240 or larger for me. I can run the 200 on my fatbob no problem already.

Hey Desert Dyna, we are looking into doing a kit for the earlier dynas but not sure when we will get started on it. It will be posted on HD forums when we do.

The 200 Dyna conversion consists of billet Aluminum Fender Struts that are slotted and pinned for the use of our detachable passenger seat, a choice of a 20", 24", 28" Rear Fender, a leather solo seat and all stainless mounting hardware.

However they do look very nice and if i had the cash laying around it would be up there on my list of things to do.

Money is one factor, but losing seat choices - well that's just too much to overcome. Sorry guys. Love the looks though.

Interesting, so the kit is really just a replacement fenderw/ new struts and a seat. I assume it is installed by first cutting off the old struts? I've always liked your fender on softails and the fender on the 240 Dyna has a nice side profile. I think the deal braker for me besides the potential cost would be the fact that it doesn't support stock seats, or does it? I really like my C&C solo and wouldn't want to give it up.

Put a 200 under my stock FXDC - don't see the point of a 200 kit.
