Default Seat question

Can anyone vouch for the comfort of the Fat Bob seat? I want to get rid of my solo and smooth styling pillion and get a stock Fat Bob seat bit I want to make sure it's a good move.

It's ok for short trips, for anyone going over a three hour ride it sucks.

What year is your solo and pillion from? I have a 2010 Fat Bob with a stock seat maybe we can work out a swap.

Have made at least a dozen trips of 500 miles or more in one day and I have absolutely no complaints at all from my 2010 stock Fat Bob seat. 17,000 miles and counting total on the bike.

Mine is from a 2011. Just got the pillion 2 months ago. I have used it 3 or 4 times I think. I would be up for a swap. Parts should interchange because the solo fits the FXDF and the FXDF seat fits the FXDB, we tried it a month or so ago.

I really liked the stock seat, but its crap for the ole lady, so I got two seats now, a solo and a good two up

Have an '09 and rode it from California coast to Sturgis and back on the stock seat with a little mod from Mean City Cycles. Had them put some gel and memory foam in the seat and have 45,000 miles on the bike. Seat is still comfortable
