While riding down highway ,she just quit ,no noise nothing just lost power. When finally getting trailered home ,Checked it out an no spark.Changed coil, ignition module still no spark any idea's?when changing ignition module plugged it in an turned key on it sparked, but nothing after that. All wiring appears to be good all fuses are good.

do you have a manual? does the 98 have cam and crank sensors? have you checked the wiring and connectors?oyu really have to do a little troubleshooting or all you`ll get is what you`ve done plug this in ,plug that in, oh it still don`t work. when you go at it that way and possibly buy a bunch of stuff you dont need it may have been cheaper to go to a dealer.good luck

Have to ask, did you check the battery connection? a loose terminal will still allow power but wont be a strong enough contact to run...

Yes I have a manual, all wires an connections seem to be good, tested the coil according to manual an I thought it was bad so I replaced it,same as with module?what could be left the cam positioning sensor?Battery cables are tight ,ground wires are good an making good contact.

Try the crank position sensor. When mine went the bike just died. I still got lights but the bike wouldn't turn over. It happened a couple of times before it was completely shot. Really easy to change. Good luck.

One thing to keep in mind is that while this is the dyna section, 85% of the members who visit this section are twin cam owners and dont have much first hand experience with EVO's
