Hard to turn fuel valve

Looking for some advice. The fuel valve on my 94 FXDS is REALLY hard to turn, and not sure if there is anything I can do besides replace it. Any ideas out there?

Never had that problem, but maybe WD-40 or carb cleaner will free it up. I'm assuming that you are referring to the petcock. It could be varnish that is causing the tightness, so you just need to dissolve it.

if its stiff from lack of exercise X2 on the wd-40, cant hurt to try

My old sporty had that issue. I just replaced it with a pingel petcock and the problem was solved...
