Default Air Cleaner Question
Who sells somekind of chrome piece to fit the outside end of a SE stage 1 air filter ? I have a cover to put on but I wanted the exposed filter to show. I wanted to cover just the end and it has a center screw.

Use a CD. It looks pretty bad *** and very cheap.

When you buy the end peices from harley they come with a star adapter. The adapter mounts to your center hole and the 5 "star" holes mount to the outside cover.

You want an a/c cover, also called an a/c insert. Take a look at the Drag Specialties catalog. Arlen Ness, Joker, Pro One are a few names. I have a Pro One cover, it is 5.485" diameter, fits on K&N filter HD 0800 with a top plate diameter of 5.5". (K&N Filter is same size as SE filter)

I use a 100th Ann trim cover on my A/C. The five hole bracket came with it (see image and parts diagram below).

just about any cover/insert thats 5-1/2" in diameter will fit including the ones made for the arlen ness big sucker kit
