I see the company is in Virginia. If it ain't too far away maybe I can ride over there and have him set the 2 inch and the 3 inch on the bike to see which one I like better. I wonder what city he is in.

Looks good, I'm not a fan of bags on a Dyna but those look good. Are the back sides of the bags lined with felt or something? Just curious, I've used throwovers and they always rub the paint unless you back them with felt.

No they are not lined but the leather is really smooth and soft. You could add something there if you wanted I guess.

Cool Williamsburg is right near where I'm at. If I get some I could at least save on shipping.

I understand that they are held 'on' by the seat but I'm looking forward to a report as to how they stay put at speed.. Are they tied down? Velcro?

@Blacknsilver...beautiful bike and the bags are a great addition. Great custom look that will be very useful. Thanks for the link - I bookmarked it.

They are buckled together under the seat and there is a leather strap that ties both lower sides together underneath.

I hate the idea of saddle bags but those are a good compromise, they would be a great addition to the tool kit fork bag, and my roll bag i throw behind my solo seat, I like those allot, seem pretty steep at $165 though, good idea looking bags though.
