Good looking bike! those 14's look high, i swore they were 16's.

I'm looking into apes probably by the end of the year (got a birthday in November and Christmas in December, so hopefully something pops up)

I've got a question about installation....I'm weighing things out as far as whats most economical. I know the Hill County Customs come pre-wired for easy install. I still don't trust myself to do the install, that's a pretty important thing to goof up. So I wonder, what's the most efficient way to save labor hours.

I hear full install if i buy just apes is about $500. I can get the bars pre-wired for about $400 or get the bars, chrome controls, cables prewired and connectors at the end for closer to $600. What's best? If i got them pre-wired with connecters and everything is it simple just plug-n-play i could do myself, or any other tricky parts to installing?

Does this make sense? Basically, is the extra couple hundred to have everything set up already and do it myself a better deal than just having the dealer do the whole thing in the first place? Does it come out about the same in the end?

i found a good indy shop to do mine they charged me 250 and did an awesome job! i had it all apart and the wiring scared me so i put it together and took it to him.

Not too bad. I've had a really hard time locating and Indy dealer around my parts. Theres about 4 Harley Shops within about 25 mins of each other but no really cycle shops.
