I looked at the Cheap Shot at one time. I didn't like the idea of cutting and splicing into the harness to install. I ended up going with the Daytona Twin Tech II.
Most of these types of tuners all work the same. The more expensive ones have interface plugs so they're just plug and play, although finding room for it can be a pain.
On the Twin Tec unit I have, the wires come pre-pinned and require you to disassemble the Deutch connectors to remove and replace pins. Not near the hassle that it sounds like. Install takes 10-20 minutes.
The cheaper units (like the Cheap Shot) just come with stripped ends on the wires and you have to cut into your harness and splice or use those shitty tap connectors to install it.
