Nice! Looks great both ways.
Any plans on painting the fairing/bags/tour pack? I guess it would be very hard to match since the rest of the bike is all powder.
Depending on my bonus <crosses fingers> I want to go for a fairing setup over the offseason. I want a GPS, iPod hookup that pulls power and charges the iPod and decent speaker setup.
I want to use the HD detachable clamps but have to decide how to get them. I guess I could buy a used windshield and then sell the shield keeping the clamps. That would be cheaper than buying the clamps new from Zanotti's ($160'ish - considering I'd buy a locking 4th one).
Again, looks great man.

thanks guys, does not bottom out even with the wife on back, all 105lbs of her... hahaha
it does have GPS mount but not in the fairing after i did all the mods there was really no good way to put it where i would have clear vision of the GPS and not get a glare on the windshield at night... so GPS is bar mount... the Ipod doc station is hooked into the headunit so it charges...
punch before you buy bud... let me know i am selling my set up... before i market it let me know what your looking to do, hell i can even instlal it for you! hahaha
getting a Vstrom 1000 for long touring so no point in having this for my bob any longer

JRK so I'm looking to do this similar project just having a hard time finding brackets and what not to be able to mount fairing and tourpak. I haven't bought anything yet, if you sell I'd definitely be interested especially since it should be an exact fit for my 2010 bob. I'm a college student and always commuting to school and work, more storage is a must for me.
