Default 07 Super Glide

Hey guys, having only owned and rode Harley touring bikes, i have a question. My ole man is looking at a real clean 07 Super Glide, pretty much stock. Is there any thing i should look for one it? Any known gremlins in those models? Thanks

I think 06/07 dynas had some reported inner primary bearing issues... on some...
Go to the owners site, register, then add a bike (07 SG) and look up open recalls...

I have an '07 that I've put nearly 33,000 miles on it with no major problems. Some have complained of a 5th gear "whine" out of the 6 speed tranny, but I've never heard it. It was corrected in ''08. Regardless, it's not considered a potential problem. The '06s had a stator issue.

Only 10k on mine. Had to have front fork seals replaced recently. Other than that all good.
Good luck.

Mines been perfect,no gear whine, shifts perfect(they do clunk a bit),pulls hard,no codes, doesn't leak or use a drop of oil and in over 11,000 miles I've never even had to tighten a nut.The thought has crossed my mind to trade it in on a touring model but a little voice keeps telling me I would be making a mistake to let this bike go.

The 06's had inner primary bearing (IPB) and rotor problems. They also had the 88" motor. Went to the 96" in 2007, those issues were resolved. As for the gear whine in 5th, I never heard that in mine, either.
