Mine doesn't have a ground wire. I ground off the powdercoat on the swingarm and license bracket. Essentially this creates a chassis ground for the light, grounding the light to the frame. My light only has two wires. I could have run another wire from the bracket to somewhere else but I chose to go the cleaner route.

I have the harley side mount light and the wires run inside the fender and plug in under the seat

Mine only has two wires as well, so I'm left with the ground wire as an extra... I guess ill just screw it down somewhere just to be safe....

Does the ground wire have to go all the way to the light? Or can I just attach it to the swingarm?
