So is the 103 just new ground for HD?(Shouldn't be)
Is it the heat (factory installed excessive lean condition?)
Like anything else thats mass produced, 1 in 10,000
could have a problem (How many engines doe they make
in a year?)
I'm sure you followed the break-in procedure (somewhat)

They'll make it right !! I wouldn't get too discouraged unless
you continue to have issues. Just no bike @ the moment &
winter time's a comin'

we'll see, its still riding season here, and jan and feb are ugly but we start up again then.. gonna miss a great ralley this weekend. of course . i could ride my other bike.. a rebel.. lol

Found split o ring behind oil pump, oil filling crankcase - thus lack of power and consumption. Plus weird noises test riding it now.

Makes me wonder why they waited so long to check this for you. The bike must have been slow as a dog with all that oil in the primary.

Not in the primary, the way I understand it. I seen the .20 cent o ring that oil would bypass over into the crankcasen where it have to fill before being emptied and returned to do it again.
Anyway I am riding it home now, (stopped to feed the ol) I'll let you all know how it goes. Thanks for your inputs.
