Default My Progressive's puked :(

I've had my 08 Dyna for 2 weeks now. The original owner installed a pair of progressive 412 shocks. This weekend after my first short trip on the interstate I noticed they were leaking. I went for a quick ride last night and it wasn't good.
I'm pretty bummed that these died on me after only two weeks of ownership (They were on the bike most of the 7K miles that are on the bike so they're only new to me)
I'm going to call progressive today to see if they're under any warranty.
If not, what other options are there for shocks?
So far all I've found are Progressive, Drag Specialties, and Ohlin (expensive).

What's wrong with stock shocks? They are adjustable and of good quality. You can prolly find a pair much cheaper than buying aftermarket.

Look into Works as well. Ohlins are expensive but I feel you get what you pay for. I had 440's on my bike and didn't think they were worth the cost. As said above you can get a set of stock shocks for a great price and see if you're happy with them.

+one on the stock shocks. Unless you race the bike you'll never know the difference.

I don't think Öhlins are that expensive really. I had some on my Sporty, and they were significantly cheaper than the Progressives they replaced, and far better.

Actually, I just installed a set of shocks from a Fat Bob onto my Street Bob and I couldn't be happier. These things are as smooth as the air shocks on my Geezer-Glide.

JPcycles now sells a pair of 11" & 12" shocks for $179. They're made by progressive.

These might be worth looking into!

Even if you're packing 450 lbs. with 2-up? I'm trying to get a decent ride without bottoming, and the stockers are harsh as hell with the preload dialed up to "5".

Thanks, good info on the JP shocks. I'm looking at 13".
Many years ago I had 412's on a previous FXR, way better than the stockers were. But, that was then.
