progressive 412 question

progressive 412 question
ok... bought some 412's off ebay and they finally got here....theyre supposed to be the 11" models, and out of the box they look like theyre 12" is this because theyre not loaded? [meaning "on the bike"]or did they send me the wrong ones?

Do they look like....or do they measure 12" center eyelet to center eyelet. If they measure 12" you got 12". sorry bro............................................... .................................................. ..................................

damnit..measured them and theyre freakin 12-5/8" center to center....thought they might compress when on the bike
i swear i think i got ripped off here...they came in the 11" box w/ all the papers...but they dont say "progressive" on them anywhere! they have the tapered bottom [preload adjustment section] but i think these are stock superglide shocks!! lemme post a pic and lemme know what you think.....

man you got boned, i have the 11 and you can just count the chrome spirals and see you have stock there, i would be getting back to him immed, and the prog have there name and # on them

yep...just emailed him, told him i wanted full refund plus return shipping A.S.A.P
shouldve known the deal was too good...$100 plus 25 to ship
in his defense...he did say he was selling these for a friend and they werent his.
i suspect his friend gave him his stockers in the progressive box and just asked to sell 'em
and dude assumed thats what they were because of the box...not gonna get mad....just yet!
anyone can make a mistake... and i'll give him the benefit of the doubt...for now!
as long as i gets mah money
