Hope you get your money back along with the shipping costs. If he was selling them for a friend, maybe this can be excused, but from what I've seen there are a lot of people selling these things for friends and have mile long disclaimers in their product description. Not to pile it on here but when in doubt, I always ask as many questions of the seller as I can before parting with my cash. Even if this guy is legit and knows nothing about the shocks, he could have looked at them and let you know if they said Progressive anywhere on them if he was asked.
Again, hope you get your refund, let us know what happens, E-bay scams abound this time of year.

well after sending this guy several emails [without response] i went straight to paypal's dispute center
filled out the form,which included a letter to the seller.
within hours i got a response and a refund is now pending....
thanks for all the help folks....
just goes to show..."the squeaky wheel gets the grease!"
