I havnt done mine yet but i watched them do an install on American iron on a 04 or 05 dyna. They used kuryakin and from i could tell they give you everthing you need, even the chrome cap to cover the the shifter shaft and also something to cover the shfter arm so it doesnt ratttle arround. They have a step by step instalation of the kuryakin forwards in the latest American iron magazine using the above said bike also.

I have one Kuryakyn product - chrome maltese mirrors. I think they're cheaply made. Besides not being able to keep enough tension for the actual mirror to stay put for more than one road bump, the chrome is completely pitted. I've had them less than a year and I clean/polish regularly. None of my Harley chrome stuff is showing any signs of pitting yet. Something to think about.

I have HD forward controls.......... They work very well......... They are very plain, nothing fancy. I have over 12K miles of hard riding on them (rain, etc.), and they still look new.

i can say from experiance that the Kurys are very easy to install however they are having some plating issues (including my own set) if you look around the forum you'll find at least a cpl threads that are talkign about this problem. I was able to contact them direct and they rectified the problem. I personally think the are a better LOOKING product over all the HD stuff is very very plain but that plus side is you don't have to polish them lol.
