Default Avon Grips
Anyone have or know anyone with the Avon custom contour grip? Thinking about getting a pair. Also like the Harley get a grips which seem very similar but about double the cost.

I put these on my RKC and there the most comfortable grips I've ever had on a bike

I had a pair of avons. They were ok for $40. It may seem like it's much more, but if you can, find a pair of PM grips for $80 off ebay. They are 10x better, and 10x better quality.

I've never tried Avons but they look like my ISO grips I had on my sabre and I loved them. I've been debating getting a set of black ISO grips for the SB now as well.

I have Avon Custom Contours and love them. I have also tried the PM grips and didn't care for them.

I put s set on my FXDC. They are nice grips. They are after market and disigned for more then one brand. The friction lock does not work because the area on the grip is too short. No big deal cause I don't use it anyway.

I've had 2 sets of Avons on 2 bikes and love em. First bike had PM's on it when I wore em out tried the Avons. I noticed absolutely zero difference between the two aside from the double price tag for the PM's. You won't be disappointed with the Avons

I really like my custom contour grips. I only wear gloves when its cold.

I would love to run the air cushion Avon grips but my hands are to small to reach the levers with them. I'm using small diameter grips from a Sportster low for now.

PM grips are billet aluminum with rubber inserts over the aluminum. Avons have nothing but rubber and plastic ends. How can you guys say you don't notice the difference in quality?
