Default Help!

Just picked up the Sears Aluminum 1500 lb Motorcycle Jack. Can't figure out where to position the thing underneath my Low Rider. Don't want to damage anything underneath. Couldn't find anything in the service manual referencing where to postion a jack under the bike for lifting. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

You NEED those adapters, a (cheap) friend of mine tried using wood....with bad results!!! HINT: It ended up costing him about $500 in parts & paint.

Last infamous words "It's only about 15 inches!"

My bike's not very steady on my generic bike jack so I strap it to the jack using tie-downs on both sides. It's very stable that way, and it's a cheap (less that $10) fix.

The part you're looking for is 98965-99 (about $21.00) and looks like below and yes, never jack the bike up w/o strapping it down, just in case.
