your bikes are all looking awesome with 11in shocks, I decided to bought them, it's gonna be one of the winter projects.
JaronB I really like the setup you got there with thoses apes, I'm looking forward to get some bonzana's or road 6 custom, just cant make up my mind how tall I want them, I'm only 5'9 and I would like them to be like at shoulder's height.

Even though my bonanza's are 15" they are only like 3 inches over stock where you hands go because of the angle of the grips. Here's me at 6 foot. I also have the bars pretty far forward for my monkey arms. Hope this helps with your decision. Also PM 128auto because I think he's about your height and went with the 15's.

They ride great.... for a lowered shock. If you want comfort, get a bagger!

Default jmeiers all black street bob

Last year I purchases a 2011 street bob stock. I'd like to black it out like yours. What have you done to yours? and what kind of cost am I looking at? I'm thinking of possible putting a fatter tire on the front, kind of like the 48 but I'm not entirely sure what that would entail and at what cost?

Rides a little harder. But I am glad I did it...

I did the front lowering drop ins with a 2 inch spacer and amsoil shock therapy and that was the biggest and best difference in my lowering process.

With the front and rear lowering kit, is there a clearance issue putting a jack underneath it?

I'm 150 pounds with gear, and For my '13 street bob the lowest setting on the standard progressives feel fine, but any higher preload than that takes a passenger to mellow out the hit from even medium sized bumps. All that said, still better than stock, looks and feel.

I have owned 2 Wide Glides and lowered both with 11 inch shocks. Ride and handling was perfect and the bumps in the road wasn't very noticeable and I turned up the preload a notch or so to stiffen up the ride to handle those bumps and for My woman when she rides with me! I will say that the bike being lowered slightly made it handle and ride better than those stock 12.5 inch shocks did and I'm 5'10" and my legs should of been about 1 1/2 inch longer to ride with stock length shocks! . But go ahead and get those 11 inch shocks and crank the preload up a notch and get ready foe a better handling bike!
