I see this from time to time or these forums and would like to know what it is, Scotchbright?

you can also get different grades/strengths/roughness of it at paint shops. maybe at home depot or something but we have paint supply stores around town (cause of all the construction i guess) that sell nothing but paint supplies of the commercial quality.

Scotchbrite is a 3M product that is used for surface prep. It can be used on several different surfaces and is avalible in three different compounds. It is similar to the dish cleansing pad the old lady uses to clean those nasty spaghetti pots. (Not the sos pad).
