Default Fat bob headlight on a street bob

I have an 08 street bob. I just mounted the twin fat bob headlight and due to the narrow triple tree I cannot adjust it up any farther. Is there some way of bringing the light forward an inch so I can take advantage of the extra light. I was thinking a 3/4" thick by 3" long by 1" wide piece of aluminum with 2 holes drilled,1 hole for the light mount and 1 to attach to triple tree. Has anyone got a trick for this or is there something out there made for this or am I custom making a piece for my bike.
Thanks for any intelligent answers.

Default leepetersusn's solution

Here's how forum member leepetersusn did it using a home made bracket:

Had to have a custom one off aluminum bracket fabricated to make it fit, but it's in there. Here are some pics. I guess I could have shined it up a little first, but here it is anyway.

I have a 2007 Dyna Low Rider (FXDL). I was told that the twin headlight from the Fat Bob would not fit because my forks were too narrow. Well, I decided to buy it and see what I could do. I was able to mount the light using the stock bracket that came with it directly on the triple tree. The angle adjustment is as high as it can go but still leaves about 1/4 inch gap between the light housing and the fork tube. Plenty enough to prevent any touching during a ride and throw the beam out far and high enough. I've had it installed now for about 2 years with no issues at all. During the initial installation I noticed that the bolt hole in the triple tree was much larger than the bolt shaft, so ther was some play. I made sure the bracket was positioned as far forward as the play would allow before tightening it up. I love the new look and the added illumination. I did have to modify my windshield (used a dremel). Check out my garage for additional pictures.
