i need help to decide to help a friend.
my friend has a 09 FXD with 30,000 miles that I would consider stock. It has some dents and scratches but other than that it is clean title and tires are good.
He needs some money to put into his business and can't seem to find a buyer for the bike.
The bike pretty much looks like this pic off the web.
Anyways I can get it for $8,200 plus repainting.
What I am unsure of is if i can sell it and make my money back or a little more for insurance and some extra for paint.
i wanna help the guy but i don't want to be stuck with a bike i don't really want.

i dont know your location, but bikes are a tough sell in the winter months in ohio, but in the spring/summer... bikes are at a premium.
if he paints it and you buy it for $8200, i think you could make your money back. but really its gonna be a hard sell with 30,000 on the clock, there is plenty of bikes with less miles out there for sale. just something to consider.
