Default Tire pressure gauge

Years & years ago I bought a Monkey Grip LED gauge. Beside the 2 on my ride, I also have another 10 tires on truck/car to check. The LED is great in that I can read it without glasses. I believe its' battery is near death and after taking the gauge apart, the battery is not replaceable without major reconstructive surgery. What is a good and accurate gauge these days that I can use/read on the bike and other tires? (I guess I can buy another MG gauge......) Thanks

Accu-Gage makes excellent tire pressure gauges. I have been using them for 5 years.

Default Tire Gauge

I also have a Accu-Gage. It is the 4X4 but works on the bike and cars as well. It has the button pressure relief valve. I fill my tire a few pounds over the actual pressure I want and then bleed the excess off. It also holds the pressure reading after you pull the gauge off the tire.

Good thread! I was using a tire gage that I thought was accurate, but it was running 8-10 pounds UNDER the actual pressure!! Not good. Put it in the rubbish last week and need a new one. I'll try to get one of the accurate gages one of the other folks recommended. Tires cost too much to get wrecked due to poor air pressure/been there/done that! Ride safe!

If you want a really accurate gauge, check out a speed shop that caters to race cars/nascar etc. They are very accurate (usually in 1# increments), have a decent hose on them, will hold the reading until you hit the button and you can adjust the pressure down by holding the button down but......they are $$

Thanks for the responses. Bought an Accu-Gage. 2" dial, reads 2-60lbs, Brass body w/unbreakable face dial.
