I bet that would really confuse the guys at bike night. I'd be a smart *** and tell them it was a 1 off prototype for the switchback but Harley pulled the plugs because they thought it would cut too deep into their Street Glide sales Looks really good.

Was their a reason you went with the 2-6x9 instead of the 4 - 5" speakers?

Looks great , i don't know what kind of speakers those are but i'm sure you can upgrade for even better ones ( if needed ) , listening to "Back In The Saddle" by Aerosmith while riding on the freeway would be nice !

they are polk audio marine grade speakers. i think the 6x9s look better. the 4 five inch speakers just looked ugly to me.

Default Bracket & Clamps?

I just got in my Reckless Fairing and all the other components to do the same as you this weekend. Gotta love HDForums for the ideas, insight and motivation. Got a couple questions for you.

1. What did you use for mounting brackets? Did you mod what came with the fairing or make your own?
2. How are the quick release clamps for securing the fairing? Pretty solid or do you feel like a U-Bolt in the center of the clamps is needed?

Wow I can't believe I missed this thread. Looks great and tunes add to the ride for sure, plus the added wind protection is nice. Though I went with a differant company for my fairing (Tsukayu), enjoy!

Only in the aspect of riding on the highway and no wind blasting your face/chest. But no a fairing doesn't change the handling of a bike.
