Time to replace my battery

Bike won't start. It's definitely the battery. It's lasted a long time though. I bought my bike used in March 07 and have not replaced the battery yet. I'm assuming it's the original. I guess I'm gonna pick up a new one from the dealer on Tuesday.

Yea you can't complain about that. I got 5 years on my original one. I replaced it with the same.

Replaced the one on my 07 after 1 year due to negative terminal being melted. Been running 4 years now on the replacement and it is fine.

Still on my original 04. Doing some major custom work on scoot. Using the battery for testing my wiring now. Going to buy a new one next season. I heard these batteries can go bad without a warning.

I got my monies worth.

Yeah, I knew it was coming before I left for my deployment. It was having a hard time starting after sitting for a couple weeks. When I left, I put it on the tender but was expecting to have to replace it after it sat for six months. I was right, it has enough juice to power the lights and fuel pump but not enough to turn it over. No big deal, I'll buy a new one and hopefully it'll last as long as this one and I won't have to worry about it for a while.
