New Black HD air filter

I have a 2005 FXDCI..
I had the Big Bore stage II added when I bought it in 2005

I just putit in for service and asked about the "Blue" stage I air filter
the HD mechanic advised me there was a problem with the SE blue ones and they have now been replaced witht the black ones

Does anyone know (Help Springer BOB) if the black replacement airfilter is a high flow like the SE blue one or is it just a stock air filter???

I am debating between a Arlen Ness bigsucker and a
Dewey's A/C cover with a Zippers high flow filter.

But I still would like to know about the SE"blue" air filter issue

Even though it is black, it is still a paper element. Still have problems.

My black one works fine. No issues at all. It's a high-flow. I'm not sure if the blue version had the mesh around it or not, but, my black one does and it seems very sturdy and durable. A Big Sucker or other would be better, but, I don't have any issues with mine.

Go with the K&N and never buy another filter.
