I have one on a pigtail that plugs into the charging plug for my battery tender. When I need it to charge my phone I plug it in and toss it into my left saddle bag.

I haven't looked closely at the switchbacks but I have one mounted on the back side of the headlight tins on my Heritage front end. But that for lighting cigs, not sure how cumbersome it would be riding with something plugged in to it.

For me I just have to have the power outlets as close and easy to get to as possible. I use it for heated gloves as well as my GPS and need two separate outlets handy and don't want to be bending and stretching to find them. So I ran my power supplies to a cigarette pouch I installed on my center counsel. I don't smoke so I don't need to carry cigarettes, but for whatever reason, cigarette pouches look right at home on a Harley dash. I ran the power supply right up the bottom of the pouch. Closed, it's a great camouflage and I just have to open it up and I have a double power source.
