Bought a multi-fit SE plug wire kit because I wanted a Yellow wire. Coil-end terminals don't look like the OE coil-end terminals in size. The SE ends are a much larger diameter than the OE ends. Kit contains a 40" length of 10mm wire with right-angle plug connector on each end. Before I cut/size wire lengths, I'm thinking these ends can not be correct for my '03' Dyna? This wire-set may be for a later model or different than OE coil? Bought at HD dealer, but not my local dealer. (Local did not have the Yellow set in stock) Thanks
Just installed the latest Screamin Eagle 10 mm Spark Plug Wires (just over 3/8"). I used Romex wire again to support the front cylinder wire on the horn mount, but did it in a "V" shape instead of straight up and down. The yellow wires are only available in universal kits. The plug ends are on already and you have to terminate the coil side. I ended up taking the plug side off to position the Screamin Eagle logos on both left to right as well as locating them on the top side. The ignition coil boots in the kit don't fit and the ignition coil terminals are the wrong type, so I used the parts from my old wires. These wires are fat!
Screamin' EagleŽ 10mm Phat Spark Plug Wires Fat 10mm plug wires add dimension and style to your ride. Screamin' EagleŽ boot design and suppression core wires insure solid connection and maximum voltage transfer between coil and plugs. Screamin' EagleŽ logo printed along wire to add style.

The photo is of a '06? Did the coil terminals snap-fit? They will not on my coil terminals because of the size.....too big, like the diameter of a spark-plug terminal.
Try JP Cycles - Accel P/N Part Number: 381-208. These are 8.8 mm but look and work fine. I have Accel yellow wires on my 2007 FXDC and they look, work and fit perfectly.
Well I've given-up trying to find a coil terminal connector. Neither HD dealer carries and none of the auto-parts stores I tried (5) carries either. The coil-end terminal is a female 4mm diameter that stabs into the 4mm male terminal in the coil. Kinda spooked about buying wire-set online because of this terminal-end business.
I just bought the Accel kit for late Dynas to install on my '08 Fat Bob. The terminal end at the coil is the correct size, but there were plastic sleeves that were supposed to go inside the coil that were too large in diameter to fit. They would get tight about half way in. I rolled the boots back and trimmed them back far enough to allow the wires to snap on to the coil terminals and they work fine.

Yes I know I can do that but I got out of that "rob Peter to pay Paul" business a long time ago. If my OE wires were bad, I'd have done that already, but they aren't so I won't. Can't understand why I can't find this type of terminal....especially from H-D!
