Hi I was hoping you could help me out with my fork tubes.. I have them all apart for the DLC coating process. When I look into the tubes I can see a hard plastic washer that is about 2 inches down. Harley says its for dampening and can't be removed. Will this be a problem for the DLC, ie will it get damaged ? Did you have the same ring? I have a 2013 street bob fxdb .. Thanks in advance
