HD Refined Calibration 07 Recall
This may be old news but I got a letter from HD today to have my 07 Dyna's
FI recalibrated called a "refined calibration. Anyone had this done ?
Sounds like it will de-tune it to prevent engine and trans damage.
It is for all TwinCam 2007 models made before October 2006
I scanned the letter and have included it but not sure if it will be large enough to read.

I got my letter yesturday. I'm gonna call the shop today to tell them I have the TFI and new pipes. It might be aimed at stock setups. From what I have read in MC usa it stops low end surging

I purchased my 07 on Nov 10th. Found out about the recall on this site and called the dealer last week. They did not know what I was talking about. Later they called me back and said bring it in for the fix. 15 minute job to download the fix. I had 175 miles on the bike at the time of the fix. I can't tell any difference. Since I am in the break in period I drive the bike without much throttle. I got the letter yesterday from HD. Recall notice was dated the 20th of Nov. So far HD has stood behind their product. I plan to enter my VIN number from time to time on the HD website to make sure I know about any other recalls.
