Hey thanks for the thumbs up on the bike. Here is the link for the speedo relocation bracket.http://www.jokermachine.com/item2004...&Placeholder=0 It is not very hard to install ,but it takes time. It has all the lights as the stock set up. The forks have to be pulled through the upper trees to install on the bracket we got. I had a Burly slammer kit for the front but didn't care for it so we just dropped the front though the tress another 1.5" . That leveled the bike out nicely. It is low and handles great. The jiffy stand has to be altered at some point to adjust for the drop. She is down to mirrors and levers and relocating the rear turns for her saddlebags to fit. I almost hate to see it finished. Been a fun bike for her to work on.
Looks great. We had to install the lowering kit on my wifes bike also, Burly. You may have to set the shocks to her weight if you already have'nt. My wife was bottoming out on the rear, she is 102 lbs. Then we made them to stiff and she was almost flying off the bike on big bumps.
Hey Skidder ,
We really like the Burly rear shocks and she set them up at one click above zero. That seems to work the best. I watched her bounce off the seat a couple of times when they were set too stiff. She didn't bottom out when they were set to zero but it didn't feel right. The front fork kit was a whole different story. I just wasn't happy sticking a used piece of PVC pipe in the tubes to lower the front. Cheap way to level the bike and you lose fork travel in the process. Plus it is a whole lot easier to just lower the trees. No loss of travel in the front and no tearing the forks apart. It may be a drop in kit but it didn't impress us. A metal sleeve was what I was looking for in the kit. It rides stiff but not as bad as a hard tail, so she is very pleased with the set up.
