Better paint it black. Maybe then it will blend in. It might be homely but if it works for you then its worth it.

I don't get how anyone can think that dampner looks cool or "tough". Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and mine is " fugly"!

I agree I think they are goofy looking on a Harley. Over the years I have seen a lot of horrendous looking stuff people have done to their bikes. But it's really none of my business what anyone does or how goofy they look. No skin off my ***. I have a friend who crinkles his nose up and is quick to say "I don't like this" or "I don't like that" I guess he is trying to make himself look superior but to me he just looks/sounds like a whiny little bitch.

+1 for the damper pic. I think that it looks good. I like the contrast of the metal against the black. this is not the kit advertised of flea bay. but gives you a idea how awesome it looks

Here are some pics of mine... of course i have coated my hardware... those of you that think they are not necessary. you can believe that...i run a damper on every bike i own... all 8 of them, no question, the stability in turns, high speeds, and braking is unreal... is it 100% necessary, to the adverage bar hopped weekend romper, no... But i ride daily... and to me it is 100% necessary

and a pic of the shorter damper
