Damn that sucks.. Im in Spokane WA and its nice, mid to high 30's and sunny out today. actually just got back from the dealership and now of coarse I want to ride, really bad but I just cant do it.. I KNOW there is ice out there, especially in the shadows..
Hope you didn't hose yourself, or your bike up too bad..

Thanks everyone, I live outside Portland OR.
FXDX can be fixed. In fact I had just left the dealership and they came and got the bike. It will be fixed before me. Great dealership.
For me - fractured the bottom joint in two places. Going 10MPH in a school zone - buddy took off, light changed yellow, tapped brakes and went down hard. Hardest part was faces all those school kids asking if I was alright. Then the 5 o'clock news guys showed up. All for a single MC going down at 10MPH.
Interesting thing is I have it on video on my gopro2. When I feel better I will post a link

Glad it wasn't worse. Healing up can take some time...but better now than in the spring.

31F, 28F, 30F, In the morn when I leave for work. I've found it's not cool to fishtail into intersections. Thus I imagine this years riding seasons over.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune, heal up and be extra careful, I'm sure you will.
Riding on ice sucks, you have to ride the line and balance like your life depends on it.
Having to make sudden stops or turns sucks. got to leave plenty of room.
