I put a two into 1 on mine. Lasted about 5 weeks then straight off.
For the bit of performance gain i got, wasnt worth the **** look and even worse sound. Back to 2 into 2 and staying there
One of my winter projects is having a used Thunderheader that I picked up coated black with JetHot...you are however, making me second guess myself.
I am running the old SEII's with BCT Thunder Monster baffles that sound pretty damn good IMHO. Will the sound of the Thunderheader (or any 2-1) really suck???

Sound is a very personal judgement, personally I think 2-1 sound much better than 2-2 pipes, they usually have a lower tone which sounds better to me. While I don't like the look of the thunderheader, I think they sound about the best.
"for the last few HP I could get out of it - I gave in to the 2 into 1 lure and installed the SuperTrapp SuperMeg. It may be function over form, but it is trying to grow on me."
Ran a T-Header on my FXR for many years - great looks, great sound, great performance. I'm likin' the S-Trapp on yours - enjoy it!

I think it fits the style of the bike well. I recently switched back to a 2 into 1 system. The bike runs alot smoother but I do miss the sound of the 2 into 2.
I just added the Supertrapp Supermeg with billet open end cap. I love the deep sound. I also like the looks. I have not got to ride but about an hour or so but I do think it picked up some power.
