+! who cares what they look like when its 25 degrees outside anyway. no one is really looking at the bike at that point , they are just wondering what the hell you are doing on it . I would love warm hands without having to plug in electric gear all the time.

BTW nice bike. I did not like the switchback when it came out because it was so different than anything else in the dyna line. But they have really grown on me and I like the lines with the bags and windshield off the bike.

Everybody is free to do whatever pleases them, but if you've spent quite a few $$$ for such a very good looking bike, throw in another 150 bucks and get a pair of heated gloves... those things you have don't look good sorry.
Also I wouldn't ride gloveless for safety reason, may you ever need to put a hand on the road on a slide, God forbid. Ride safe.

I don't mind them. And like another poster said, if it extends your season, then great.

My season here is done, not because of colder temps, but because of salt. They salt around here like they own the salt mines. Just this morning, temps were around 33 (and rising, so you know it's gonna melt), and we had the thinnest of thin layers of frost on the roads and they salted!

in my mind there are posers,
" i bought my harley because i want everyone to look at how cool i am "

and people like me
" that get depressed when they are not able to ride",

we are the type that dont give a DAMN what others think so long as we can
ride and do it comfortably.
god knows i wish i lived in a warmer climate where i could ride comfortable all year round as i have done in the past here in NJ ( thank you el nino) but im not able to do that just yet as we still get snow from time to time, but so long as their isnt salt on the ground you will find me adding some layers of clothes, firing the bike up and heading over to our weekly hangout to have breakfast a shoot the **** even when its in the teens and twenties.

im not crazy because i know how to dress myself and the bike for all kinds of weather
and for those that keep saying " get electric gloves" i let a friend of mine with the harley gloves ride my WG 2 weeks ago and he said he liked the muffs better than the gloves and that his hands were much warmer.

Same in Minnesota, at least in around the twin cities. If it wasn't for the salt, there would be days we could dress warm (and still go numb) and ride a few miles. But with sand and salt dust and tiny salt chunks (like rock salt), the intersections can be dangerous for four wheels, let alone two, when the streets are dry. I won't ride again till there's been at least one hard spring rain; the spring street sweepers don't clean it good enough to keep your bike salt free. Ironically, some of our worst icing comes from salt; they spread it on snow, it turns to slush, and then if it gets cold enough it turns to solid rough ice. Studs aren't allowed here, so there's just no way to ride in that kind of mess.
