RSD reminds me a little too much of jesse james. I like some of his project bikes. I liked the victory he tore into ; i like his handlebars. But he charges way too much for his stuff. too slick for me .
The only thing RSD and WCC have in common is that they are both in California.
Cost way too much and the lexan might become brittle with age.
Like the OP said a leak waiting to happen.
If Roland wants to prove me wrong I would be happy to test a set, looks pretty trick.
I'm sure other parts makers will copy the theme of the design over time.

There was a member here who has made clear covers himself that looked pretty sick. I don't think he had an issues.
I remember the thread and I think he made a video as well. Like I said I want to see a higher mileage review over a year or so of having it on there to see how it looks, etc.
Its definitely a different look but a costly one at that. And you can't just do one, to make it look good you have to do the entire set and thats $$$$$$$.
RSD here - we have had the Clarity line on our Dyna for about a year and a half doing testing and there has been no discoloration or cracking. There is a proprietary abrasion and UV resistant film to protect the surface from any yellowing, marring or breakage. There is also a specialty coating that does not allow grease or oil to adhere, keeping the internals clean.

Does that coating help with lubrication for the raping you do for your parts?
