I have a 99 fxdx and was wondering about a fitment of a fender. I want to buy a new fender to do a little work on thru the winter. I plan to smooth the whole thing out and figure a way to change the tail light to something smaller and clean. Looking at a fender cheap because if I screw it up it's no big deal to toss in the garbage.
I have found a rear fender that has come off a 94 low rider. Will this work for my bike? Any info would be appreciated.

 

Yes a 94 fender will work on your 99, any fender from 02 and up will be wider.
