Merry Christmas all, Well I went and did it. I rode six hundred miles today on the SwitchBack. I feel pretty good. Sadly it was all highway miles. Tomorrow I'm going for a ride here in the Daytona area with some family friends. Man this is great. Thursday back on the superslab to North Carolina. Riding is riding. People were very friendly everwhere I went. Lots of thumbs up. Love this bike.

Ok so I rode 1260 miles Down on Tuesday, did a ride on the Ormond Loop while there and the beach scene then the ride back today. Great ride. Two problems Somehow during the ride home my Transmission plug (allen) came loose, what a mess. Also the rear peg mount now has a missing bolt. Won't be able to get to the dealer till next year about that I'm really pissed that a 19k bike has parts fall off on 1200 mile ride. Not happy. The weather was great in Florida though. If I didn't have the two problems it would have been perfect I can walk, The bike was comfortable, really love it. Merry Christmas to all.
Glad it was a fun time. two problems is bad today, but back in the AMF days, you wouldn't have even thought of doing such a trip due to parts breaking and falling off your bike. Harley reliability has improved a lot since then.
I would consider riding my Dyna for a long trip as much as my Tiger1050. dd50
Yeah just a little upset. Whining a little. So I have some video if you can't see it here go to youtube and search for ptsteve29 I hope to have all five Ormond Beach videos up tonight.
