Well it's around 42 degs and I can live with that, it's the drizzling rain that spoils the ride at that temp. It's supposed to rain tomorrow, so it looks like no riding Christmas day for me.
Lou.........Here's wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas
The Merry Christmas wish goes out to all y'all here at the forum also.
I was wrong about the temp yesterday it went 50 a little different today 28 when I got up at 5am but I will on the scoot in a couple of hours waiting for the sun.
Had to be back by 3:00 for a Christmas Party, but was able to get in a couple of hours prior to that. Probably around 42 degrees, but with the right gear it felt great. Hopefully be able to sneak in another few hours tomorrow as well.
so far long range they are calling for 52° for new years eve
and new years day here in central,NJ... looks like another
weekend i can ride... trying to get as much in as i can on the new bike
before my surgery lays me up for 3 months
I need to do my 1k oil change, perfect weather today hopefully I can see the in-laws off and get my honey do list finished up in time to knock everything out and still have some time to ride. We haven't had much rain down here this year and the weather has been pretty fair. I'm down in South East VA though. We had a cold snap here, I was riding in 28 degree weather. As long as it's dry it's not bad, just have to layer up. It's the black ice that scares the crap out of me at those temps, especially with all the bridges around here since we tend to get a lot of wind chill off the water.
