Actually the Fatbob Heritage tin covers will work. I have a set of tin covers and a Street Bob top clamp and they fit. I also have a set of Wideglide trees and they are to wide.
Please post up a picture. Lots of people would love to see how you got Heritage tins on a set of Dyna Street Bob forks.

I don't have them mounted. I just happen to have a set of tins from another project I was thinking about and a Street Bob top clamp. I just held them together to see if they fit inside. I do see that problem though, because the Dyna's use 49mm forks and I believe Softails use 41mm forks you will have to do some fabricating on the sides because of the gap. Also the distance from the top of top clamp to the bottom of the bottom clamp is 9 3/4", the tins top to bottom measurement is about 8 3/8". I tried to attach some pictures of the clamp in the tin but can't seem to do it tonite.
The FLD has it's own triple trees with 41mm forks. The headlight nacelle is only for it. The Fat Bob trees are closest to it in measurement but don't appear to be close enough.
I have tins from Hydra-Glides through Softails and none of them are even close to looking correct on Street Bob or Fat Bob trees. I have been trying for a year and have decided that I will eventually go with pre 1984 FLH trees and put on the 1960-84 headlight nacelle and fork tins (using 41mm forks of course).
