speedo light wont shut off

Default speedo light wont shut off
whent for a ride today and when i first turned her on it took a few minutes before the speedo and odomiter turned on...got home a few hours later shut her off and the speedo is still lit up ...idk what to check or do other than disconect it or the battery

I would check the ignition switch, when the key is on acc, the speedo light would come on, maybe something wrong with the switch

Strange. I know this wont help but my speedo light stays on for about a minute and the weird part is if i pull the clutch lever in it goes out till i release the clutch. Been this way for over a year. Too randome to diagnose. Good luck!

Could something have got wet? I have a PC5 and after I washed it with the seat off it did something similar for about 2 days until I dried out.
