Sadly I was talking about the Rodney King Riots. Bad subject I know but living on 5th as I did we saw a lot of bad stuff for almost a month. They actually put us up on base several times.

rk riots were radical
bought a 396 68 camaro in the middle of the flashpoint a month after it happened. the owner was very verbal about what went down in his hood.
he said "those asian store owners never gave us no respect. we fired that place up first. got me a case of jack daniels!"
he was so blase about it.
like he was telling us what he had for dinner...
