Default Wheel swap

A buddy of mine just bought an 09' Superglide. He's been wanting to get spoke wheels and I have been wanting mag wheels (11' Streetbob). Would this be able to work? Secondly, I've noticed his rotor setup is different as well. Are there any benefits/drawbacks to the 1 piece vs. the 2 piece floating rotor on my Bob?

Don't know of any draw backs on the rotors. I am wanting to do the same thing go to mags from spokes, from what I read on here it is a direct swap except for the rotor on the front the rear is the same.

So the Superglide rotor will fit in the Streetbob caliper without any clearance issues?

As long as the rotor is the same dimensions as your bob, width/overall size, etc. The only thing that won't fit is your wire wheel rotor on a mag wheel and vice versa, reason being the bolt holes are differant. In other words if you tried to use a stock street bob wire wheel rotor and bolt it on a mag wheel the holes won't line up. So keep this in mind when you order aftermarket rotors or new stock ones, if you put on the mags and buy rotors to fit a stock bob wire wheel you will see what I am saying. So you will have to order rotors for the superglide model, if that makes sense.
