I'm wondering if anyone has used the Harley Davidson paint jobs on their Fat Bob? Any pictures? I'm thinking about doing some flames on mine and trying to decide whether to go with an independant painter or use the HD paint shop. Thanks!
The Harley jobs are nice but way too over-priced. Do your homework and you get most anything you want at half the price. Go to local bike and car shows and ask around. Most good custom painters can copy what the motor company produces.
It my take some time to find the right painter. Most of the car show crowd will know who the top painters are in your area.
If you don't have the time and have extra $$$ go with Motor companys stuff, its nice.
Just had my tins done be an Indy. Nice thing is I know that there isn't 500 other bikes out there with my design.
I don't have any experience with that e-bay vendor. I would check with others on this site if their happy with the job they got. Someone here just had a job done by them. I would have to say the price is a little to good to be true. Do your homework.

Colormania is a forum sponsor, they do good work. I had my tins painted by them, mine was just a black paint job but i have heard good things about their flame and graphics work.
For that price you be hard press to beat them. Most places around Chicago want $1200 for anything custom.
Single colors are going for $600 to $700 depending if they need body work.
Looks like something to look into. I'm sure others will post. Saw one of their Brandywine jobs on this site and it seemed like the owner was happy with it.
