Ok the PC guy said parts will be ready Friday or Saterday so i need help sense i don't have a service manual i need torque specs on everything I'm supposed to torque down. Rocker head. Covers fo sure and @ the bottom of the forks. What more am i missing help please.
Rocker cover bolts have a torque sequence. Middle bolts, short, long, then short bolt closest to other cylinder then long bolt diagonally opposite, then short bolt farthest from other cylinder, then long bolt diagonally opposite. Got it?lol. Hope this helps. You should get a manual. It's worth it but sometimes makes things sound more complicated than it really is.
No problem. I'm trying to get my front end and a bunch more stuff powder coated this winter. Never took apart trees or forks before, and have been doing a lot of research on the "how to". Think I'm just about ready to tear into it. Post those pics when you get it back together. It's going to look sick.
Ok so just got done with PC MODs just 2 hang ups. 1st the dealership said 2 pint would b enough to fill my forks wrong so i gotta get more oil. 2nd The PC guy kept my headlight bracket so I gotta get that back other than that it went good but ill let u guys b the judge |PS sorry for the shity pix but late and work tomorrow Ill get better ones up whebn i fix the headlight issue and clean the ol girl.
