Thanks all for the leads. I like the highway pegs idea, then shift and brake using my heels. So I'll just try that first.

Im switching to the forward controls but leaving the mid peggs so i can stand up at bumps and to look over trafic. I have the highway pegs now but i dont like the constant back and forth im only 6' and cant stand having my leggs back.

I am 5 10 and have mids with highway pegs and while at times the pegs are good mainly on the highway. It is very uncomfortable for me. I get cramps easily using the mids and in the city have to keep one leg on the mids to shift. I just got my HD forwards on the forum for 190 shipped for a new set. Very happy with that. But if u go on ebay u can find an aftermarket set for around 225. Also chicago harley has a pretty good deal at 330 shipped
