The sissy bar selection for Dyna's stink. Harley offers the same style in mini, short or tall. Everybody looks alike. Has anybody seen heard of a place you can buy custom sissy bars for Dyna,s? It seems the best custom bars are for rigids. I am seriously considering making my own (easier said than done for me).
Rudedog, thanks I will do that. There is an old style bar made back in the seventies that is simular to Harleys but instead of being sort of rounded at the top it has three bars coming up (two outside bars and one inside bar) and had three blunt points with the center bar slightly higher, all square steel. I see one every now and then on e-bay but it is ususally for Sportster or a Shovel. I need one with a Wide Glide spacing. Its really a simple style but different.
I've seen those. The last one I saw had an 8 ball mounted to the top center post you described. I'm pretty sure you can take your pick of what you want on the top but the one you described has nothing on top? right?
I'm thinking the style Bluegrass wants is something similar but with a different top section. I wish I could find that picture I saw on here with that one.
Yes the one I saw had nothing on top. It kind of looks like a pitchfork with the center fork slightly longer. It is about as tall as the stock Harley tall sissy bar.
